Recent Prior Experience
Students have completed Modules 1, 2, 3 and 4 of their Pathways Plan.
The students will:

20 Minutes - Jobs in my community
Lead a discussion on the wide variety of jobs available today as well as the many jobs that have not yet been created. Discuss the changing nature of jobs and what jobs or opportunities may be available in the future. We all change and so does the world around us. Students complete worksheet What changes can you see?
There are lots of jobs that students may not know about. Ask students to complete the Jobs in my community worksheet.
10 Minutes - My changing dreams
Ask students to work in pairs to complete the My changing dreams worksheet. Ask students to put on their fortune teller hats and look into their crystal ball. What do they see? Can they see an image of the kind of person they will be, the work they might do, or the life they might lead? Students share their ideas.
30 Minutes - Exploring myfuture videos
Ask students to login to their pathways plan and complete Module 5: Explore videos as well as the myfuture videos worksheet.
Ask students to revisit the Jobs in my community and My changing dreams worksheets and add any new ideas about jobs in the future and/or their dream job.
