Lesson Delivery
Introduction
10 Minutes - Knowing yourself
Introduce the lesson by reminding students of the activities they may have completed in year 6 to identify their strengths, interests and values. Discuss the importance of knowing your strengths, interests, values, personality, personal skills, likes/dislikes, capabilities and aspirations to make good career decisions.
Ask students to login to Pathways and take a look at their Year 6 Transition Plan. If they didn’t do one, they can explore the 5-6 Plan.
Development
30 Minutes
Ask students to go into the Pathways Plan and complete module two: Knowing who I am.

Closure
20 Minutes - Work clusters
Ask students to break into groups based on their work cluster as determined by the quiz they completed on the FYA website. Ask each group to match personality type posters and the work clusters. Prepare a short presentation to the class on their findings.
